Man bruised in morning assault

Police appeal for information after Derry attack

A man may have had his jaw broken following an assault in Londonderry on Monday.

The 22-year-old was assaulted close to a kebab shop at Bank Place in the early hours of 12 July.

He also sustained two black eyes and multiple bruising to his body.

The attacker was described as being about 5ft 5ins tall and of a slim build. He had cropped hair and was wearing blue jeans, a grey T-shirt and a grey baseball cap.

Police have appealed for anyone with information to contact them.
