Bolton sex attacker on the run from police

A sex attacker from Bolton is on the run from police after breaching the conditions of his release from prison.

Stephen Ainscow, 28, from Bradshaw, was jailed for seven years in 2005 for attempting to rape a 14-year-old girl in Rossendale, Lancashire.

He was released from jail in March, after serving four years of his sentence, but has now gone missing.

A Lancashire Police spokeswoman said Ainscow had "breached specific terms of his early release licence".
