Christine Lagarde lobbies Brazil for IMF job

The French Finance Minister, Christine Lagarde, has promised to support demands from emerging countries to have more say in the running of the International Monetary Fund.

Lagarde made her comments while visiting Brazil, the first stop on a tour to drum up support for her candidacy as the IMF's managing director.
