Assembly Rooms in Edinburgh restored to former glory

The Assembly Rooms building in Edinburgh is re-opened after being restored to its 18th Century former glory during a £9.3m refurbishment.

Closed for 18 months, the A-listed building in George Street has been entirely renovated by local craftsmen.

The Edinburgh Fringe venue will now open all year round.
