Kent sea rescue: Thirty six teenagers and adults saved from rising tide

Thirty six people who became trapped by a rising tide were rescued after using their mobile phones as distress beacons.

The 34 teenagers and two adults had got lost on the Kent coast in an area prone to rock falls from the cliffs.

An air and sea search began late on Monday after the group from London alerted Kent Police.
