Alun Cairns: Election will 'strengthen' Brexit deal for Wales

A snap general election will 'strengthen' the ability to get the right Brexit deal for Wales, the Welsh Secretary has said.

Alun Cairns, MP for Vale of Glamorgan, said the decision to call the election for June 8 had been done 'reluctantly'.

He told BBC Wales News's David Cornock that opposition parties were using the parliamentary process to frustrate talks to leave the European Union.
