Orders from newer planemakers take off at the Farnborough Airshow

With billions of dollars-worth of new plane orders piling up at the Farnborough Airshow, hopes are high that the global aerospace industry is at last turning the corner.

Increasingly, airlines are looking beyond Boeing and Airbus to newer planemakers, who are targeting customers looking to buy smaller regional jets.
