'Stress tests' to reveal the big banks' weaknesses

Banks across Europe have been ordered to undertake 'stress tests' to assess how they would cope with a renewed recession.

On Friday, regulators across Europe will announce how much capital European banks will need to raise as a protection against possible future losses.

There are fears that the tests have not been tough enough.
