Electronics giant Sony back in profit as TV sales soar
Japanese electronics giant Sony is back in profit, after large losses in 2009/10.
The company made 25.7bn yen ($293m, £189m) compared with a 37.1bn yen loss in the April to June quarter the previous year.
It sold more than 5m televisions during that period, up 60%. Sony has also cut costs considerably, with plants closed and jobs lost.
