US braced for another rise in unemployment figures

Employment figures due out in the United States are expected to show more evidence of the deteriorating labour market in the world's biggest economy.

Economists are predicting that as many as 80,000 jobs could have been cut from US payrolls in July. This follows job losses totalling 125,000 in June.
