Euro strengthens as dollar stalls

The Euro has bounced back from record lows against the dollar in June, while the US continues to struggle with high unemployment and a weak economy.

The dollar rallied slightly on Monday, ahead of a meeting of the Federal Reserve, following hints that the board may take action to prop it up. But the US currency remains at a 15-year low against the yen.
