Unemployed figures dip as firms recruit again

The number of people without jobs in the UK dropped by 49,000 between April and June, the largest quarterly fall for three years.

Scotland saw a slight rise in unemployment of 0.2% - but the total number of jobless people in the UK is now 2.46m.

Chris Buckler visited Knaresborough company GSPK Design, which is one of the firms taking on new staff again.

The company's Paul Marsh and Graham Keddie explained the thinking behind the expansion and their hopes for the next year.
