Unite recommends BAA offer to union members

The Unite union has recommended to its members a new offer from BAA of an unconditional 2% pay rise plus a £500 lump sum.

Brian Boyd said it was pleasing that Unite's members were "not being required to participate in industrial action".

Meanwhile Brendan Gold said BAA's withdrawal of conditions attached to any pay offer had been "one of the key things" staff had been looking for in a deal.
