Indian IT company aims to end female foeticide

India is fighting to stop female foeticide.

According to the United Nations Population Fund, the male to female birth ratio in many rural areas is still lower than the international average.

The absence of girls is straining local communities, workplaces and the country's rapidly growing economy.

A Maharashtran IT company is working with local doctors in an attempt to re-balance the gender ratio.
