Treasury rejects IFS budget study
The Treasury says it rejects the conclusion of the Institute for Fiscal Studies that low income families are among the biggest losers from the Coalition Government's first Budget.
Ministers say the findings of the study, commissioned by the 'End Child Poverty Campaign', are 'selective.'
The research concluded that the poorest households will see their annual incomes fall by an average of about 5% by 2014.
