New Zealand counts economic cost of quake damage

New Zealand is attempting to calculate the cost of Saturday's earthquake and its continued aftershocks.

The prime minister, John Key, has already warned that the disaster will set back his country's economic recovery.

Initial estimates put the cost of repairs at around $1.4bn, and there are fears that heavy rains could add to that bill.

Greg Ward reports from Auckland.
