Singapore's retail sales fell in July 1.2%

Singapore's economy may be expanding at a furious pace but on the surface its retail sector appears to be suffering.

The country's malls are pulling in shoppers from across Asia. Despite this, retail sales fell 1.2% year-on-year in July.
