UK economic growth stays unrevised at 1.2%
UK GDP figures for the second quarter of 2010 have been confirmed again at 1.2%.
According to the Office of National Statistics the economy grew at a slightly faster pace in the first three months of the year than previously thought - up 0.4%.
Alan Clarke is a UK economist at the investment bank BNP Paribas. He says he does not expect this level of growth to continue, largely due to government spending cuts.
