Finance chiefs call for calm in emerging markets

As the debate about currency manipulation continues another trend has got the attention of the authorities. Billions of dollars are flooding into emerging markets as fast growing economies such as Brazil and South Africa offer promising investment returns.

However, the flow is playing havoc with currencies - and global finance chiefs are calling for calming measures. The worry is investors could get their fingers burnt again.
