Public spending waste 'unacceptable' says Sir Philip Green

The Government has consistently failed to use its clout to save money says Topshop owner Sir Philip Green.

The Monaco-based billionaire delivered his efficiency report on Monday, in which he highlighted what he called a "staggering" waste of money and said the Government has consistently failed to make the most of its scale, buying power and credit rating.

He spoke to the BBC's Business Editor Robert Peston.
