Green: Topshop now 'a global business'

The British retail group, Arcadia, owned by the billionaire, Sir Philip Green, has reported a rise in annual profits.

The group, which owns Topshop, Topman, Miss Selfridge, Burton, Wallis, Dorothy Perkins and Evans brands as well as Bhs department stores, made a pre-tax profit of just over £213m in the year to August up from just over £200m in the same period last year.

Sir Philip Green told the BBC about his plans to open Topshop stores across the US.
