Sants: bank bosses to blame for crisis

The Chief Executive of the Financial Services Authority, Hector Sants, has spoken about the lessons that can be learnt from the financial crisis.

He put the blame mainly on the bosses of the banks and said that in future there must be mechanisms for banks to fail without bringing the financial system down with them. However, he said that regulators had important lessons to learn.
