Job loss warning from construction industry
The construction industry is entering its fourth year of falling workloads. According to the Federation of Master Builders nearly half of all its members expect their workloads to decrease in 2011.
The sector is also warning that the recent VAT hike will mean a loss of 7,500 job losses within construction.
Builder, Kevin Ellis, and Director General of the Federation of Master Builders Richard Dimet, outlined the problems the industry faces to BBC News.
