Twenty years ago the Indian Prime Minister, Manmohan Singh, launched India into the global economy with a series of radical reforms. His budget set the country off down the path of rapid growth.

Nidhi Dutt talks to a slum family and a middle class family to find out how they are coping with the strains and stresses of India's boom and asks what they would like from India's next budget.
