Ruling due in Europe on gender-based car insurance

Young women could face dramatic increases in the cost of car insurance after a European court ruling due on Tuesday.

Insurers could be told that they have to stop quoting different rates for men and women.

The European Court of Justice will decide whether it is a form of sex discrimination which should be banned.

The BBC's Simon Gompertz reports.
