WH Smith profits rise 3% as stores offer legal advice

Stationer and book-seller WH Smith has announced a rise of 3% in profits for the six months up to the end of February.

Despite tough times for many high street chains, the company is planning to add legal advice to the services offered in its stores.

Chief Executive Kate Swann told the BBC how "we've always done legal packs... this idea just expands on that".
