Osama Bin Laden death affects markets
The news of the death of Osama Bin Laden gave stock markets around the world a brief boost - although the positive reaction was short-lived.
The Dow Jones in New York finished Monday flat. It was a similar story for the US dollar, which rose on the news, but then fell back and hit a 17-month low against the euro on Monday.
Goldman Sachs Asset Management chairman Jim O'Neill says Bin Laden's death will not affect investment in the US in the long term.
