Tata set to announce record Jaguar Land Rover profits

India's Tata Motors will announce its annual results on Thursday.

It is expected to reveal that Jaguar Land Rover - which it bought in 2008 - was a star performer with record profits of over $1.6bn dollars last year.

The result completes the luxury car maker's remarkable recovery from the depths of the recession.

Julia Caesar reports.
