Andrew Sentance warns Bank of low interest rate risk
Former Bank of England monetary policy committee member Andrew Sentance, in his first interview since leaving the committee, warns of risks associated with low interest rates.
Dr Sentance consistently voted in favour of interest rate rises while on the committee. He told BBC Radio Four's World At One that the bank risked perpetuating higher inflation by taking short term measures to address the UK's economic situation.
