Inflation still above target

There has been a small drop in the rate of inflation.

The consumer prices index fell from 5.2% to 5% thanks largely to a drop in the cost of food, air transport and fuel.

Despite this, the rate still remains well above the Bank of England's target of 2%.

Hugh Pym reports.
