US may seek China's aid over Iran

US Treasury Secretary Timothy Geithner starts a two-day visit to China today. Trade tensions have been high between the world's two biggest economies but there's a new item high on the agenda - Iranian oil.

China is the biggest buyer of Iranian crude. And according to reports, the US may try get its support in sanctioning Tehran's exports to curb its nuclear ambitions.

Graeme Maxton, chief economist at The Insight Bureau says despite the recent rhetoric from both sides, the world's two biggest economies need to co-operate more.
