Customers may be missing out on millions in compensation
A consumer organisation has suggested that consumers could be missing out on millions of pounds in unclaimed compensation as complaints against the big six suppliers have risen.
Which? says it is because people are not taking unresolved complaints to the energy ombudsman.
The group has also reported that more than four million complaints were made about gas and electricity companies in 2011.
Radio 5 live Morning Reports asked David Hunter, an energy analyst with M&C Energy Group, if he was surprised by the Which? report.
