Satellite market booms in Middle East

The satellite market is booming in the Middle East as more and more countries push to develop their communications infrastructure and get their populations connected.

Many of the Middle Eastern countries have shunned traditional land lines and cables and opted for satellites to provide live TV and GPS.

However, with a price tag of more than $700m each, is it money well spent?
