ONS revises UK GDP figure down

The latest figures on the state of the economy from the Office for National Statistics show that it performed worse than previously thought in the final quarter of last year.

GDP fell by 0.3% between October and December compared with the initial estimate of 0.2%.

Will Heddon from IG Index blamed companies who "sit on their hands" and "do not contribute to growth".
