Perfume's sweet smell of success in Middle East

Consumers in the Middle East spend five times as much on perfume as their European counterparts.

If you head to a shopping mall the scent of Arabian oud is all-pervading.

Traditionally, local oud-makers have ruled the market but increasingly, international fragrance houses are looking to tap into the region's wealth by introducing their own Arabian scents.
