Thailand rice subsidies criticised by its central bank

Thailand has been trying to boost domestic consumption and cut its dependence on exports.

However, the plan has raised concerns about its impact on the economy, where growth is slowing.

The BBCs Sharanjit Leyl spoke to Thailand's central bank governor, Prasarn Trairatvorakul, about the country's economic policies.
