How will Barclays revelations affect banking industry?

The £290m ($450m) fine against Barclays over manipulating banking lending rates has led to new questions being asked about the state of the banking industry.

The Chancellor George Osborne has already confirmed that other banks including HSBC, RBS, Citigroup and UBS are also under investigation.
