Did Bob Diamond reveal anything of note to MPs?

MPs will vote on Thursday on the type of investigation to be held into the banking industry.

On Wednesday, the Treasury Select Committee questioned former Barclays Chief Executive Bob Diamond after he quit after and the bank was fined £290m for rigging the inter-bank lending rate.

BBC Radio 5 liveWake Up To Money asked Conservative MP Mark Garnier, a former City of London investment banker and fund manager who sits on the committee, what he learnt after three hours of questioning.
