Young people's views on new driver proposals

Young people have given their opinions on proposals to reform the way the learner driver system operates.

The Association of British Insurers says drivers aged 17-24 are responsible for a disproportionately high number of crashes, deaths and claims.

The ABI have called for people to spend at least a year learning to drive and also wants new drivers to face restrictions on driving at night and a lower alcohol limit.
