Bangladesh moves to protect traditional products

In Bangladesh the government is bringing in a new law to protect the country's traditional products.

Items such as saris and wall hangings, which the government says are uniquely Bangladeshi, will be registered and will have a sign to show where they come from.

The move comes after India registered a number of products which Bangladeshis claim is theirs.

The BBC's Anbarasan Ethirajan reports.
