RICS concerned about regulation of the rental market
The lettings industry risks becoming the property industry's "wild west" because of a total lack of effective regulation, according to the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS).
The organisation says it has found evidence of some lettings agents taking advantage of tenants' lack of housing knowledge.
Henry Pryor, a housing market expert, told BBC Radio 5 live Wake Up To Money what RICS was worried about.
