UK economy: 'Promising straws in the wind', says ONS

The UK economy grew 0.9% in the third quarter, says Office for National Statistics (ONS), less than the 1% it had previously estimated.

ONS chief economist Joe Grice told BBC News that their were "promising straws in the wind", such as the service sector growing by 0.1%.

The UK's official statistics authority regularly revises its data as more information is collected.
