Asia firms seem to struggle to win admirers, a survey shows

Being admired is a good thing, even in business. But according to Fortune magazine, Asian companies find it easier to make money than win friends.

In Fortune's annual survey of most admired global companies, the top four spots were taken by US giants Apple, Google, Amazon and Coca-Cola

Asia's best ranking company was carmaker Toyota at 29. Singapore Airlines was at 31, with electronics and phone powerhouse Samsung at 35.

But Andrew Milroy, from Frost and Sullivan, explains why Asia's firms should be much further up the list.
