Phones 4U staff put up 'heartbroken' sign over closure

Retailer Phones 4U has gone into administration putting 5,596 jobs at risk.

The chain, which is owned by private equity firm BC Partners, said its 550 stores would all be closed on Monday.

Staff from Phones 4U in Stockport posted up a ''heartbroken'' sign in their window, but refused to comment as they arrived and closed the premises.
