US franchises continue on path of rapid growth in India

Across India, the taste for American culture is growing. That, combined with the young population and growing middle class, means it is now one of the top three target markets for US franchises looking to expand.

According to professional services firm KPMG, the US franchise market in India is worth more than £13bn (£8.5bn). And it estimates that will more than triple by 2017 - creating work for 14 million people.

The BBC's Ashleigh Nghiem reports from Mumbai for India Business Report.
