Bookshops have been facing a firestorm of disruption - e-books and online retailers have undercut their prices and many have gone under.

But Foyles of London, once the biggest book store in the world, has managed to turn itself around while others have foundered.

The man who has brought the chain back into profit, Sam Husain, has done this by finding the magic that many still believe bookshops possess.
