Companies back Australia gay marriage moves

Some of Australia's biggest corporations have called on the government to legalise same-sex marriage.

The chief executives of Qantas and other big Australian firms have urged politicians to consider the economic benefits of reforming the country's laws to allow same-sex couples to wed.

But there is opposition and neither of Australia's two main parties have committed to support it. From Sydney, the BBC's Phil Mercer now explains.
