Ghana told to hit brakes on oil exploration

Until a maritime territorial dispute between Ghana and Ivory Coast is resolved, any new offshore oil exploration must stop, says the International Tribunal for the Law of the Sea.

Both Ghana and Ivory Coast claim the waters as their own and a final decision on this dispute could take two years.

From Ghana's oil city of Takoradi, the BBC's Suzanne Vanhooymissen reports for Africa Business Report.
