China economy: Country faces structural economic problems

Efforts by China's central bank to stabilise the country's stock markets have failed to prevent further losses.

Share prices on the Shanghai index closed down just over 1%, despite Tuesday's cut in interest rates.

Wall Street ended Wednesday higher, but in London, Frankfurt and Paris the markets were all down.

Carrie Gracie looks at some of the structural problems affecting the world's second largest economy, problems that are causing grave concerns around the world.
