Video pioneer backs gig economy

Few entrepreneurs taste success until they've experienced what it's like to fail. It wasn't until New Zealand university drop-out, Tim Norton, set up a company focusing on the gig economy that he struck the right formula.

Saddled with more than half a million dollars in debt from two failed companies, he set up his fifth firm, a global video production platform based in the cloud.

The Singapore start-up, called 90 Seconds, now has operations in cities including San Francisco, London and Sydney. He's a champion of the gig economy, but admits there are challenges.
